Cheesepedia is available to users of all ages, but certain content — including wine and alcohol pairings — is intended for users of legal drinking age. The app does not verify age.
You do not need an account to use core features. Creating an account allows you to sync favorites, history, and gourmet boards across devices and access premium features.
When creating an account, you must provide accurate information including your name, email address, and country. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, that are used for abusive or fraudulent purposes, or that generate an unusually high volume of requests to our systems.
Cheesepedia offers a free tier and a paid Premium subscription. The free tier includes limited daily use of AI-powered features (up to 4 scans, 4 AI recipes, and 4 gourmet boards per day).
Subscriptions are billed on a monthly or yearly basis. Prices, billing periods, any free trial availability, and renewal terms are shown by the App Store or Google Play at the time of purchase.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
Refunds are handled by Apple App Store or Google Play according to their respective policies. We do not process refunds directly.
If your subscription lapses, your account immediately returns to the free tier.
Cheesepedia uses artificial intelligence (Google Gemini) to power three features: cheese scanning, AI recipe generation, and AI gourmet board creation.

All content in the Cheesepedia app — including the cheese database, encyclopedia entries, interface design, and software — is owned by or licensed to Cheesepedia.
European cheese data is sourced from the EU's geographical indication database (TMDN GIview). Turkish cheese data is sourced from the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office's geographical indication registry.
Wine reference data is compiled from publicly available sources including Wine Folly, VIVC, and Wines of Türkiye; source texts and images are not reproduced verbatim.
You may share individual cheese or scan results using the app's built-in share feature for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit app content without our written permission.
Cheesepedia does not host user-generated content visible to other users. All favorites, scan history, and boards are private to your account.
When you submit an AI content report using the flag feature, you consent to us storing the report data (feature type, content identifier, your reason, and your user ID) for moderation purposes.
The app integrates third-party services including Google Firebase, Google Gemini, Google AdMob, RevenueCat, and Expo. Your use of these services is also subject to their respective terms and policies.
Purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. We are not a party to those transactions.
The free tier of the app displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob, including rewarded, interstitial, and native ad formats. Premium subscribers see fewer or no ads.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any content, including AI-generated results, encyclopedia entries, or pairing suggestions.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Cheesepedia and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Unless mandatory local consumer law requires otherwise, these terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey.
